Workshop Ambient Art

Anticipating on the growing quantity of technology and products which relate to the 'Ambient Intelligence' concept (AKA distress homes, Ubiquitous Computing), its many artists, designer and architects are curious forr what that could mean to them. This workshop gave a unique update of the state of the art. Artists: Eolwin van der Heide, Elmo Diederiks, Alex Vermeulen.

The fourth series of NetArt from the MadLab has a theme: Visual Culture anno 2005.

Ambient Art Experience warp

In the development of this there has been worked together on a base of need with other artists or technical partners.

The first project is TOAS - the act of sensing. This is based on concepts of Gijs van Bon and Erwin van Doorn, right now (2006) carried out by Gijs van Bon, Mander Lieftink, in cooperation with the company Metatronics (Eindhoven). The expectations iare that the project will be finished for public introduction at the end of 2006.

Th second project is OSMOSE, an idea of Mirijam van Overbeek.
The third project is Corridor, Jérôme Siegelaer.

In de ontwikkeling hiervan wordt er op basis van behoefte samengewerkt met andere kunstenaars of technische partners.

Het eerste project is TAOS-the act of sensing. Dit is gebaseert op concepten van Gijs van Bon en Erwin van Doorn, er wordt momenteel (2006) uitgevoert door Gijs van Bon, Mander Lieftink, in samenwerking met het bedrijf Metatronics (Eindhoven). De verwachting in dit eind 2006 gereed te hebben voor publieke introductie.
