Living LaboratoryFor MAD emergent art center Artist In Residence, Canadian media artist Holly Schmidt is exploring the Strijp–S site as it is being transformed from the Philips Electronics Estates into a Creative City. In order to explore this transformation, she is creating a large-scale architectural model of the NatLab development. Schmidt examines the history of this site as a laboratory for physics research in relation to the current development of the site as a creative laboratory for living and working. |

Living LaboratoryVoor het MAD emergent art center 'Artist In Residence' programma, onderzoekt de Canadese media-kunstenares Holly Schmidt het Strijp-S gebied terwijl het een transformatie ondergaat van het Philips Electronics erfgoed naar een creatieve stad. Om deze verandering te onderzoeken, creëert zij een grootschalige architectonisch model gemaakt van de ontwikkelingen van het Natuurkundig Laboratorium (NatLab). Schmidt verkent de geschiedenis van het gebied als een laboratorium voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek in verhouding tot de huidige ontwikkeling van het gebied als een creatief laboratorium voor wonen en werken.
